General Questions

How do I apply the tattoos?
1. Skin should be clean, dry, and free of makeup.
2. Remove clear top sheet.
3. Press tattoo, design facing down, onto skin.
4. Hold wet cloth against back of tattoo. Press down and make sure to wet it thoroughly.
5. Wait 30 seconds, then peel off paper backing.
6. Gently rinse image image with water for best effect.

How long do the tattoos last?
Most temporary tattoos last about 2-4 days. They are waterproof and are fine in the shower or swimming pool. Don’t forget to place your tattoo on an oil-free skin surface!

How do I remove the tattoo?
You can use scotch tape, rubbing alcohol, soap & water, or hand sanitizer to remove your tattoo. You can also try putting on a bit of baby oil or lotion with a cotton ball.

The easiest way to remove your tattoo is by using regular household tape.
Simply take a strip of tape and stick it over the edge of your tattoo. Rub it a little and peel it away.

Are temporary tattoos safe on the skin?
Our temporary tattoos use FDA approved ingredients that are skin safe for adults and children.

Where are your tattoos made?
Our temporary tattoos are proudly made in the USA with our printer located in California. (Our printer has been around since 1998 and prints millions of tattoos per month for some of the top brands.)

Where do the designs come from?
All tattoos are hand drawn &/or designed by Rocks de Vie founder Andrea Peterson, a former collegiate & professional athlete and graphic designer.

Shipping & Delivery

How much is domestic shipping?
Domestic shipping is calculated at checkout, and is free for orders over $35!

Can I expedite my order?
We are offering expedited domestic shipping through UPS. Rates are calculated at checkout. Please note shipping times are estimates. We cannot guarantee delivery times due to inclement weather, customs, and other factors outside of our control.

When will I receive my order?
Orders ship from our Rocks de Vie HQ in Los Angeles within 1-2 business days from when the order is processed. Orders placed on Friday after 12 p.m., Saturday, and Sunday are processed and shipped the following week. For domestic orders, USPS delivers shipments in 3-6 business days. For international orders, USPS shipments may take up to 15-21 business days.

I haven’t received my order. What’s going on?
If you are in the USA and it’s been over 10 business days since you placed your order, or if you are overseas and it’s been over 25 business days since you placed your order, please let us know by emailing us at rocksdevie@gmail.com with your name and order number. Thanks for your patience!

A note for international customers: Occasionally overseas shipments will take a longer time due to the delivery country’s customs. Each customs office is different and Rocks De Vie is not responsible for any fees or tariffs. 

Return Policy

What is your return policy?
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If, for any reason, your tattoos are not everything you had hoped for please email us at rocksdevie@gmail.com and we will straighten things out. We want you to love your Rocks de Vie tattoos as much as we do so we handle each return with care.

Domestic orders:
We happily accept the return of unused and undamaged products for a full refund, less the original shipping fees, in the form of the original payment.

International orders:
We also happily accept the return of unused and undamaged goods and will refund your entire order less the original shipping fees.

We ship far and wide and we're pretty proud of that. However, we are not responsible for customs and duties determined by each country's individual customs agency. Duties, taxes, and other fees are the responsibility of the recipient.  

Privacy Policy

What is your privacy policy?
All physical address and email information is kept private and never sold, marketing is only sent to customers who opt-in via the checkout system. Promotional emails are only sent to customers who opt-in via the newsletter form in the website footer or via the checkout. For any questions please contact rocksdevie@gmail.com.
